Terms of service
These are the rules for playing Spiritfate. By creating an account or playing the game you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
The game and your account
- Spiritfate is free to play and provided by Precise Media AB ("we"). You need to be 13 or older to play.
- Your account is yours to use, not to sell, share or give away. You are responsible for what happens on it.
- One account may be signed in from one device at a time.
Closed beta
During the closed beta the game is unfinished. Features change, balance changes, and we may reset characters, items, currencies or whole seasons when the design needs it. We will say so ahead of time where we can, but a beta is a beta.
Items, currencies and purchases
- Characters, items, gold, Spirit, Fate and everything else in the game are part of the service. They have no monetary value outside the game and cannot be exchanged for money with us or, outside the in-game market, with other players.
- Purchases are made through Steam, the App Store or Google Play under that store's terms and refund rules. What you buy is a licence to use the content in the game, not ownership of it.
- Nothing we sell affects damage, drops or progression. If that ever changes, these terms will change first.
Fair play
The game runs on our servers, and what the server says happened is what happened. Do not use cheats, bots, exploits, modified clients, or any tool that automates play or talks to our servers in a way the game does not. Do not buy or sell accounts, items or currency for real money. Do not harass other players; chat rules are the same as the Discord's. Breaking these rules can get items removed, characters reset or the account closed, without refund.
Chat
Town chat is public and is mirrored to the Spiritfate Discord. Do not post anything there you would not post in a public server. We may remove messages and mute or ban accounts that break the rules.
Availability
We aim to keep the servers up, but they will go down for maintenance, updates and things going wrong. We may change or shut down the game or parts of it. Where we shut the whole game down we will give notice in the game and on the Discord.
Content you make
Character names, shop names, chat messages and anything else you write in the game are yours, but you give us permission to show them to other players and use them to run and promote the game. Keep them within the rules above.
Liability
Spiritfate is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost items, downtime, or anything that follows from using the game. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; meaningful changes are announced in the game and on the Discord before they apply. Questions go to the Spiritfate Discord or hello@precisemedia.se. These terms are governed by Swedish law.
